| Stockholm, AD 2003; city of sour herring, rude elderly people and very fizzy lager. Stockholm, AD 2004; nothing much has changed. Four guys with melodies in their heads form a band with a name that consists of a direction and a rescue vehicle. They indulge in very fizzy lager and help elderly people cross the street. They seldom eat sour herring. They write good tunes (main purpose). Stockholm, AD 2005; a brilliant tambourine man joins the band. The weather is dull. What to do? Why not make a cover version of a theme any Swede would agree on? I.e. “kinky love”. Everybody knows Swedes are kinky! Well, anyway - you gave us the apple, and we throw it back to you! Cheers. South Ambulance has made three ep:s on cd-r, participated on several compilations and they released their debut album in March, on Labrador Records.  | |
